Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Landon Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Landon Walter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Law! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Law closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Walter.

Law has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Walter after a bit of a struggle. Law avoiding damage as Walter throws knees to the body.
Walter drags the fight down to the ground.
Walter doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Law is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Walter is working an open guard so Law takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Law closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walter is trying to force a seperation but Law has the dominant position. Law breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Law shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walter as he jumps to the side. Walter is looking for a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walter tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Law counters with a three punch combo that has Walter backing up. Walter nods at Law to acknowledge the strikes. Walter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Law dives in and grabs Walter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walter pushes down on Law's head and hops out. Landon Walter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Law. Walter tries to clinch up but Law circles away and keeps his distance. Horrible takedown attempt by Law or perhaps it was just good defense by Walter, which made it look bad. A low kick from Law is predictable there and Walter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. An inside leg kick lands from Law.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Law feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Law has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Walter is proving hard to escape from. Walter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Law gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Law shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. As Law tries to get set, Walter tries to push him back and clinch up but Law manages to avoid the attempt. Law fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Walter, pushing him back against the cage. Law slowing the pace effectively. Walter has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Law regains guard immediately. Law has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Walter has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walter looks to throw an elbow but misses. Walter tries to break free but Law pushes him back against the cage. Walter misses with an elbow over the top. Walter tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Law avoids it. Law decides to pull guard. Law is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Law wants to sweep but no luck. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Law is trying to hold Walter in close to prevent damage but Walter has managed to pass into half guard.
Law keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Law is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Law dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Walter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Law. It looked like Walter was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Law motions for Walter to come forward. Law throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Law tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walter swivels and escapes. Nice shot by Law. Law pushes Walter up against the cage in a clinch. Law has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Walter after a bit of a struggle. Law has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Law shoots in for a takedown but Walter shows good takedown defense.

The fight stays on the outside here - Law looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Law has Walter up against the cage in a clinch.
Walter throws an elbow that misses.
Walter tries to land a knee to the head but Law blocks with his arms.
Law has Walter pressed against the cage, preventing Walter from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Law has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Walter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Walter is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Law pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Law lands a takedown into guard.
Walter wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Law manages to pass to side control. Walter gets back to full guard.
Walter wants to sweep but no luck. Walter has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Law has passed into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Law connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Walter some visible discomfort.
Walter is looking to regain half guard here but Law keeps moving and retains side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walter is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Walter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Law working the head and body with strikes. Walter is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Walter takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Walter is rocked! Law decides to stand back up. Law steps back and let's Walter get back to his feet. Law looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walter is fending him off so far but Law persists. Nope, Walter circles away and we're back to standing. Walter tries to counter by clinching up but Law breaks away and moves out of range. Law has closed the distance and engaged Walter in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Law on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Law dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Law gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Law slows the pace down in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Law showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Walter darts in trying to clinch and Law makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Law throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It looked like Walter was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Law closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Walter's guard. Oh Walter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Walter wants to improve his position but instead Law has moved into half guard.
