El Angel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Descending Angel. Jose El Angel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tyler Erwin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Erwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jose El Angel!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erwin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
El Angel instigates a clinch.
El Angel blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
El Angel is trying to drag Erwin to the mat but Erwin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
El Angel is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Erwin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Erwin stalls.
El Angel is working for takedown but Erwin is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tyler Erwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose El Angel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Erwin breaks the clinch.
El Angel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Erwin connects with the punch.
Erwin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Erwin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
El Angel has Erwin up against the cage in a clinch.
Erwin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
El Angel wants to clinch
and Erwin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
El Angel is rocked!
Erwin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Erwin engages and cracks El Angel with a massive lead left hook - El Angel tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Erwin is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tyler Erwin!
Tyler Erwin decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Jose El Angel was interviewed post fight and said 'I just dont know what happened. The water i had was bad...i just dont know...'.
