Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darth Mauler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krause comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heart of a Champion kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darth Mauler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, James Krause! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krause shoots in and drives through. Mauler sprawls well. Mauler lands a jab to Krause's midsection. Mauler works Krause's body with a nice hook. Mauler throws a combination that misses and Krause counters with a single leg into guard. Mauler didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mauler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. My spies in London MMA Club inform me that Krause has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Krause trying to control but Mauler is working from the bottom. Krause's corner is telling him to maintain position. Krause drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krause jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krause advances position into side control! Krause works to advance to full mount. Mauler defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krause wants to take Mauler's back but he can't do it this time. Krause tries to control but Mauler wriggling away. Mauler is controlling an arm, preventing Krause from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Krause trying to control but he's not successful this time. Krause looking to secure an arm triangle but Mauler defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krause has isolated one of Mauler's arms. Mauler looking to fight him off but Krause twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). James Krause! Jumping up and down and very excited, James Krause waved his t-shirt featuring Sun-Tzu's logo in front of the cameras.
