Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Glenn Randall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel De Souza! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. De Souza closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Randall did well to prevent De Souza getting side control. It looks like De Souza is going to stand back up.
De Souza controlling the action here. It looks like De Souza might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Randall is looking to control De Souza's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Randall avoid being mounted? Randall is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because De Souza is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Souza thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Randall's head. Randall is trying to control but De Souza passes into side control!
De Souza controls the position. Randall manages to work his way to half guard, despite De Souza's best efforts. De Souza lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Randall is concentrating on defense, preventing De Souza from advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Souza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. De Souza has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. De Souza is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Souza lands strikes from half guard. Randall trying to hold on to De Souza's head to control him but De Souza postures up.
Randall is trying to get back to full guard. De Souza sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Randall defending well though. De Souza seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. De Souza has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Randall wants to control but De Souza is having none of it. Randall sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. De Souza tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Randall wants to sweep but De Souza has passed to side control! De Souza taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Randall gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! De Souza with shots to the head and body - Randall looks very uncomfortable down there. Randall working to try and regain half guard.
Randall is breathing heavily. De Souza tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! De Souza's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel De Souza dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Randall. De Souza stuffs the takedown attempt from Randall. Randall gets slowly back to his feet. De Souza forces Randall back against the cage and clinches. Randall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as De Souza walks away with a smile on his face. Randall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glenn Randall. That's going to take a lot out of him. De Souza clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Souza drags the fight down to the ground.
Randall postures up in De Souza's guard and throws a big left but De Souza blocks it. Randall throws a strike but De Souza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. De Souza is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Souza is continuing to stall. De Souza has been the more effective fighter overall so far. De Souza sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Randall's guard. De Souza uses his free foot to push down on Randall's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Randall. De Souza controlling from mount. De Souza working for a submission but Randall is keeping him at bay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randall wants to hold on but De Souza pushes him away. De Souza lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Randall hang on? De Souza content just to control the position here. Randall tries to hold on but De Souza pushes him away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. De Souza dominating with strikes here. De Souza sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. De Souza is working for a guillotine from mount but Randall frees his head quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Souza controlling the pace for now. Randall is looking to improve his position but De Souza isn't that keen on the idea. De Souza controlling the pace for now. De Souza is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Randall has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randall working to try and regain half guard.
Daniel De Souza has got the better of the ground game so far. De Souza tries to push Randall's head away but Randall is holding on tight. De Souza controlling the pace for now. Randall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Souza on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. De Souza working away from the top, dropping strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel De Souza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Randall misses with a takedown attempt - De Souza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. De Souza tries to sprawl but Randall drives through with a takedown into half guard. De Souza moves into full guard.
De Souza looking to hit a scissor sweep but Randall is one step ahead there. De Souza throws a nice elbow from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Souza throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Randall with a flurry of punches that miss. De Souza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Randall's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randall wants to control but De Souza passes easily into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. De Souza connects with a nice short shot to Randall's temple. De Souza tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Randall trying to hold on to De Souza's head to control him but De Souza postures up.
De Souza passes to full mount! De Souza controlling the pace for now. Randall is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. De Souza locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Randall is forced to tap!
