Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heinz K Junker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleda Aswani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oleda Aswani told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Heinz K Junker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oleda Aswani!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aswani moves into range and clinches up with Junker.
Junker is trying to force a seperation but Aswani has the dominant position.
Junker tries to break the clinch but Aswani is controlling the position.
Aswani is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Junker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Junker working hard to break the clinch.
Junker wants to break free but Aswani has control.
Junker tries to circle away but Aswani has him pinned against the cage.
Aswani wants a takedown but no success here.
Junker tries to circle away but Aswani has him pinned against the cage.
Junker is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Heinz K Junker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleda Aswani.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A frustrated look appears on Junker's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Aswani gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Aswani is in close to Junker's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Aswani lands a couple of elbows.
Aswani trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Aswani's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Junker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Junker tries to get out of the position.

Aswani keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Junker's head.
Aswani working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Junker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Aswani throws an elbow that misses. Junker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Aswani's guard. Nice move by Junker!

Junker is breathing heavily.
Aswani has control of Junker's left arm, preventing Junker from doing any damage.
Junker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aswani is proving hard to escape from.
Aswani wants to sweep but no luck.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aswani keeps trying to improve his position.
Aswani has his hands on Junker's head, controlling the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aswani is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aswani lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aswani postures up in Junker's guard and throws a big left but Junker blocks it.
Aswani has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Aswani postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aswani stays in close to Junker's body and controls the position.
Aswani advances position into side control!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Aswani scores with a couple of short elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oleda Aswani dominated that round.
That's time! Junker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Aswani forces Junker back against the cage and clinches.
Aswani tries to score a body lock takedown but Junker shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Aswani has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Junker avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Aswani has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Junker is trying to keep an underhook but Aswani manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Aswani is trying to control. Junker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Aswani lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.


It looks like Heinz K Junker has been cut.
Aswani missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Aswani winds up and cracks Junker with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aswani is controlling the pace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Aswani connects with a nice short shot to Junker's temple.


Junker is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aswani lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Junker quite badly. Junker pulls Aswani in close trying to recover. Aswani postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Junker on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Junker doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oleda Aswani!
