Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Sparbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fred Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rocky Sparbot!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparbot looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
A shot to the liver by Sparbot. Beautiful body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sparbot, as that shot connected.
Black lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Black tries to bum rush Sparbot with a series of wild strikes but Sparbot uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Black throws a hook but Sparbot blocks it.
Sparbot misses with a two punch combination.
Sparbot cracks Black with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Fred Black has been cut.
Black throws a series of punches but Sparbot moves out of range.
Black misses with a double jab
and Sparbot counters with a crisp one two that drops Black! Sparbot thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Black to his feet! Black is in big trouble!
Black is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Black glances at the clock... BAM! Sparbot nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Black crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Black is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rocky Sparbot!
Rocky Sparbot tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
