Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grin Ribber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richmond Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ribber might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ay Ay Ay. Richmond Finch is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grin Ribber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richmond Finch!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribber throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice cross by Ribber.
Finch wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ribber. Finch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grin Ribber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Finch wants to land a leg kick but Ribber is out of range.

Finch throws a wild body kick that Ribber sees coming a mile off.
Finch drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ribber throws out a loose jab but Finch uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ribber just misses with a punch to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ribber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Finch has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Finch and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ribber moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Ribber takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Finch throws a leg kick but Ribber sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Ribber throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Finch tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ribber is in Finch's guard.
Finch is trying to control the position but Ribber postures up.
Ribber seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Finch lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ribber is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Finch defends well.

Ribber looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Finch has picked Ribber up and slammed him! Ribber can't keep hold of the triangle and Finch manages to pass to side control!

Finch decides to stand back up. Finch steps back and let's Ribber get back to his feet.
Ribber lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Finch at a distance.

Ribber does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A slapping body kick lands there for Finch.
Finch ducks right into an uppercut from Ribber.
Finch digs a good body shot into Ribber's ribs.

Ribber fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Finch ducks under a wild hook from Ribber.

Ribber takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ribber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Finch avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Finch lunges at Ribber with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ribber's hand.
Ribber is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Finch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ribber looks to score with a jab to the body but Finch is just out of range.

A slow jab from Ribber misses its intended target.
Finch doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Finch throws an overhand right that lands on Ribber's shoulder, as Ribber tries to avoid the shot.

and Finch counters with a nice uppercut.

Finch connects with a single shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Grin Ribber will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Finch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Finch wants it to stay on the feet.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Finch pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ribber fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Finch manages to avoid it.

Ribber takes a swing at Finch's ribcage but misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ribber shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Finch sprawls well. Finch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ribber gets slowly back to his feet.

Finch swings for the body but Ribber moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ribber darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Richmond Finch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ribber is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ribber connects with a nice short shot to Finch's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ribber is in close to Finch's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Finch wants to stand but Ribber is controlling the position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Finch enables Ribber to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Finch manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Finch has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Ribber is stalling here. Finch is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ribber seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Finch has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

And that's the end of the fight!
Grin Ribber showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ribber has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
