Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Bombay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shin Soo Choo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bombay has Choo up against the ropes in a clinch.

Bombay drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Choo dives on top into guard. Bombay looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bombay is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Choo dives into side control.
Bombay is trying to control Choo's posture but Choo avoids it. Bombay is not content to let Choo control the position. Bombay tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Choo presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Choo prevents Bombay from getting the reversal. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
