Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyoji Horiguchi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Coleman Jr! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horiguchi digs a good hook to Coleman Jr's body.
Horiguchi lands a slapping body shot.
Coleman Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Horiguchi pinned against the cage. Horiguchi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Horiguchi leaves Coleman Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Coleman Jr looks for a takedown but Horiguchi sprawls well. Kyoji Horiguchi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Coleman Jr. Horiguchi misses the shot to the body. That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Horiguchi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Coleman Jr wants to control from the top but Horiguchi keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Horiguchi is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Kyoji Horiguchi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Horiguchi, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
