Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blunt King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blunt King will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Waters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blunt King! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King closes the distance and clinches. King breaks from the clinch.

As King tries to get set, Waters tries to push him back and clinch up but King manages to avoid the attempt. Waters has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. King rushes Waters and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. King manages to break the clinch.
King clinches up with Waters and pushes him back against the cage. King jumps into guard, dragging Waters to the mat.
Waters loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. King looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Waters has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. King looking for a sweep. Not yet King, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
King tries to strike from the bottom.
King wants to sweep but no luck. King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Waters doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Waters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Waters won't allow King to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Waters misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Waters sets himself, and King steps forward looking for the clinch! Waters avoids it this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. King clinches with his opponent.
King is struggling to control the position. King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. King gets a clinch. King drags the fight down to the ground.
Waters with a flurry of punches that miss. King throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Waters escapes and throws King's legs to the side, diving into side control! Waters misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King tries to bench press Waters off him but Waters keeps the position. Waters will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Waters is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but King is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Waters postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
King is trying to control Waters's posture but Waters avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Waters is trying to land an Americana. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. King is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Waters off and has taken his back! King lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by King.
King is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Waters defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. King is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blunt King dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
King thows a leg kick but Waters checks it and Waters counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Waters. King wants to sweep here but Waters controlling him for the moment. Waters makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Waters throws a big right hand that misses. Waters got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Waters has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted. Waters scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King is trying to hold Waters in close to prevent damage but Waters has managed to pass into half guard.
King is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is looking to improve his position but Waters isn't that keen on the idea. Waters moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, King has worked his arm free - good work by King!
King has been the more effective fighter overall so far. King sneaks back into half guard. King wants to control but Waters passes into side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Waters stands up and beckons King to his feet. King gets in close and instigates a clinch. King misses with a short punch on the inside. King creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. King is trying to force a seperation but Waters has the dominant position. King trying to land knees to the body.
King is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Waters is defending well for now. Waters misses with a punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King jumps guard and drags Waters to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Waters throws a big elbow that misses. Mike Waters overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Waters postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it. King seems keen to control Waters's posture. King is breathing heavily. King wants to hit a switch here but Waters passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for King there! King is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. King tries to reverse the position but Waters maintains control. King is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Waters dominating with strikes here. King tries to hold on but Waters postures up. Waters is working for a guillotine from mount but King frees his head quite easily.
King can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Waters dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Waters shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Waters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Waters moves into range and clinches up with King. King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
King jabs Waters right on the nose. Waters blinks but takes it well. King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Waters shoots for a takedown but King saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Waters closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. King throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King trying to control here.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. King has his hands clasped together around Waters's back. He's all about the action.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. King lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by King. King throws a leg kick which misses Waters's front leg but catches the back leg as Waters tries to avoid it. King moves into range and clinches up with Waters. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. King throws a leg kick that misses. King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Waters will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Waters. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Waters displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King. Waters attempts a counter takedown but King avoids it well and moves away. Waters avoids the head kick by King.
King stuffs the takedown attempt from Waters. Waters gets slowly back to his feet. Waters showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
Waters darts in looking for a takedown but King gets double underhooks and turns Waters into the cage. King misses with a left hand and Waters counters with a stiff right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King throws a push kick but Waters slaps the foot to one side. King misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mike Waters is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Waters shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side. King closes the distance and pushes Waters back into the cage. Waters manages to pull guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Waters has a closed guard, preventing King from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Blunt King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think King has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
