Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clifford Guerrero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kimchee Ohno! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ohno fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Guerrero to the ground. Ohno is now in Guerrero's guard. Guerrero has his feet on Ohno's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Guerrero swats away the attempt to clinch by Ohno. Guerrero could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ohno throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Guerrero. Guerrero shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ohno manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Guerrero postures up in Ohno's guard and throws a big left but Ohno blocks it. Guerrero might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Guerrero tries to stand but Ohno is controlling from the bottom. Guerrero lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ohno looking for a sweep. Not yet Ohno, not yet. Ohno is still trying to improve position. Ohno thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Guerrero postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ohno working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Guerrero. Ohno working a defensive guard here.
Guerrero works over Ohno with some ground and pound from guard. Ohno is working an open guard so Guerrero takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Ohno blocks the body kick.
Guerrero scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Ohno tries to clinch there but Guerrero circles away.
Guerrero tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ohno manages to circle out of the way. Guerrero tries to clinch up but Ohno circles away and keeps his distance. Ohno clinches with his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ohno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ohno feints and as Guerrero raises his hands in defense, Ohno changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ohno wants to control from the top but Guerrero keeps moving. Guerrero wants to sweep but no luck. Ohno stops Guerrero from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guerrero tries to land a sweep but no joy. Guerrero keeping moving, preventing Ohno from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ohno stands and steps away. Guerrero gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Guerrero misses with a head kick.
Kimchee Ohno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ohno is looking to clinch but Guerrero is avoiding it.
Ohno gets the takedown into side control. Guerrero sneaks out the side door and pushes Ohno away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Ohno moves out of range of the body kick. Ohno lands a two punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guerrero throws a right hand that Ohno ducks under and follows up with a left that Ohno also avoids with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ohno bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Guerrero sneaks out the side door and pushes Ohno away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Guerrero is breathing heavily. Ohno throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Guerrero was covering up waiting for the punch and Ohno finishes the takedown easily into guard. Guerrero pushes Ohno off and scrambles back to his feet.
Guerrero gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Guerrero really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Ohno gets to his feet. Guerrero looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ohno throws a right and a left that both miss. Ohno decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Guerrero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Guerrero is trying to control but can't.
Ohno seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guerrero does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ohno trying to mount his opponent but Guerrero defends it. Guerrero is trying to maintain the position but Ohno is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ohno takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Guerrero trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerrero is pressing down on Ohno's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ohno wanted to stand there but Guerrero had control of the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Guerrero takes the fight into the clinch. Ohno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Guerrero throws a nice looking combination but Ohno bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ohno scores with a takedown into Guerrero's guard. Guerrero has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ohno has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerrero wants to get back to striking at distance but Ohno won't allow it.
Ohno breaks from the clinch.
Clifford Guerrero is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Guerrero gets caught flat footed, as Ohno shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ohno is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ohno stays in close to Guerrero's body and controls the position. Guerrero looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Guerrero wants to hit a switch here but Ohno passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Guerrero there! Ohno goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Guerrero turns into him and now he's in Ohno's guard.

Ohno is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Guerrero lands a couple of digs. Guerrero trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Guerrero postures up.
Guerrero has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ohno is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Guerrero chips away with some ground and pound. Ohno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guerrero's guard. Ohno pushes down on Guerrero's leg and manages to get into half guard. Guerrero is trying to stand.
Ohno is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guerrero sees it coming and defends easily. Ohno trying to control from Guerrero's half guard. Guerrero has other ideas though and has regained full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guerrero avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kimchee Ohno will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Guerrero wants to slow Ohno down by chopping away at his legs. Ohno shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guerrero's guard. Ohno tries to stand but Guerrero is controlling from the bottom. Guerrero keeping moving, preventing Ohno from controlling successfully. Guerrero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ohno wants to control from the top but Guerrero keeps moving.

Ohno is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Guerrero misses with a few strikes there.
Ohno closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Guerrero did well to prevent Ohno getting side control. Ohno wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guerrero keeps working. Guerrero wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ohno works his way into side control. Guerrero is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Guerrero takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ohno advances nicely into full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerrero wants to hold on but Ohno pushes him away. Ohno goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Guerrero is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Guerrero working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ohno managing to control the position. Guerrero loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Guerrero postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ohno is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position.
