PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Libers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazzar Mcshrads (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jake Libers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jake Libers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcshrads dives in and grabs Libers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Libers pushes down on Mcshrads's head and hops out.

Mcshrads is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Libers to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Libers shrugs it off.
We've been informed that Mcshrads has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Mcshrads is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Libers can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Mcshrads has hold of Libers's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Libers manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mcshrads is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Libers is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Libers flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mcshrads anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Libers and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mcshrads slips an arm under Libers chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mcshrads has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mcshrads is squeezing on Libers like an anaconda would it's prey. Libers fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
