The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taps looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Taps stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guinness swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Taps drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Taps jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Taps thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Taps pushes down on Guinness's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Guinness wants to control but Taps is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Taps is working for a kimura but Guinness is defending it quite comfortably.

Taps is looking to advance position but Guinness won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Taps misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Eamon Guinness is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Taps changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guinness tries to avoid it but Taps manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guinness to the ground. Guinness escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Guinness keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Guinness lands a hook that stumbles Taps back into the ropes. Guinness follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Taps to the canvas! Guinness pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Taps has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
