And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Tremblay!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tremblay throws a wild body kick that KaSolomon sees coming a mile off.
Tremblay thows a leg kick but KaSolomon checks it

and KaSolomon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tremblay is trying to keep KaSolomon in close.
KaSolomon wants to control from the top but Tremblay keeps moving.
Tremblay working a defensive guard here.
Tremblay looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Tremblay looking to hit a scissor sweep but KaSolomon is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tremblay not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

KaSolomon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tremblay swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tremblay looking to hit a scissor sweep but KaSolomon is one step ahead there.
Tremblay is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
KaSolomon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Tremblay is trying to control the position but KaSolomon postures up.
KaSolomon trying to control but Tremblay is working from the bottom.
Tremblay wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and KaSolomon is now in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
KaSolomon moves into full mount! Tremblay won't be happy about that!
Tremblay gets back to half guard.
Tremblay gets full guard.
KaSolomon trying to control the position from guard on top but Tremblay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
KaSolomon throwing strikes but missing.
KaSolomon won't allow Tremblay to sweep him here.

Tremblay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tremblay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. KaSolomon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. KaSolomon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tremblay controls KaSolomon momentarily but KaSolomon frees himself.

Tremblay wants to hit a switch here but KaSolomon passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tremblay there!

KaSolomon wants to finish this one by submission but Tremblay is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from KaSolomon.
KaSolomon avoids the attempt from Tremblay to control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tremblay is working to get back to half guard.
KaSolomon lands a big elbow.

Tremblay tries to improve his position but KaSolomon has taken his back! KaSolomon has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Tremblay tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! KaSolomon pushes Tremblay away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shaka KaSolomon!
