The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lissington pinned against the cage. Lissington gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McCray shoots in but Lissington avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McCray shoots for a takedown but Lissington saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lissington has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McCray uses from the top position.

Lissington bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCray's guard.

McCray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lissington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lissington is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McCray knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lissington is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McCray has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lissington decides to stand back up. Lissington steps back and let's McCray get back to his feet.

Lissington blocks the strikes from McCray.
Lissington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Lissington gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McCray is trying to push Lissington away but Lissington has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
McCray is looking to break free of the clinch but Lissington has double underhooks.
Lissington goes for a takedown attempt but McCray pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lissington misses with a takedown attempt - McCray sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lissington has McCray up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCray keeps control of Lissington as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lissington manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McCray manages to get himself to full guard.


McCray looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lissington passes into side control.

Lissington is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McCray can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
McCray is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Lissington lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Lissington throws some wild stikes that McCray manages to avoid easily.

McCray tries to hold on but Lissington postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lissington tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

McCray tries to control Lissington's body but Lissington pushes him off. McCray squirms to his side and now Lissington has his back!

Lissington is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged McCray with him. McCray is trying to defend but Lissington has an arm under the chin now! McCray grimaces and is forced to tap out!
