Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddie Parker!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker gets tackled into the cage by Page. Page maintains the clinch.
Page just leaning against Parker, taking a breather.

Page digs a right hand into Parker's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Parker's gas tank.

Page has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Parker regains guard immediately.

Parker scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Parker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Parker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Page looks to land a strike but Parker avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Parker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Page sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Parker somewhat.
