With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hank Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellmuth Jr tests Holmes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hellmuth Jr moves forwards but Holmes connects with a nice, crisp jab.


It looks like Phil Hellmuth Jr has been cut.
Holmes connects with a body shot that sends Hellmuth Jr's belly button to the back.

Holmes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hellmuth Jr to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hellmuth Jr shrugs it off.

Holmes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hellmuth Jr is surviving well by controlling Holmes's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

No joy there for Holmes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Holmes has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hellmuth Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hellmuth Jr throws a series of punches but Holmes avoids them all with ease.

Hellmuth Jr cracks Holmes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Holmes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hellmuth Jr finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holmes misses with a lunging right hand
and Hellmuth Jr counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phil Hellmuth Jr!
A very excited looking Phil Hellmuth Jr rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
