Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Mccray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackie Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenny Mccray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackie Lee!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee cracks Mccray with an open hand slap.
Lee closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Mccray counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lee is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mccray in particular looking to stall.
Mccray has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Mccray stands up out of the half guard.
A left and a right from Lee both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lee throws a left and a right that both miss

and Mccray counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lee!
Lee tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Mccray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mccray controlling the position easily from mount.
Mccray scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Mccray sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mccray continues to stall.

Mccray stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Lee gets tackled into the cage by Mccray. Mccray maintains the clinch.
Lee can't break the clinch.

Mccray has clasped his hands together around Lee's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Lee is looking to get back to his feet here but Mccray is keeping cool and he's managed to take Lee's back.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Lee is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Mccray.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kenny Mccray will probably get the nod.

Lee throws a right and a left that Mccray avoids nicely.
Mccray appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Lee throws a combination. Mccray tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Mccray avoids the body shot from Lee.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mccray appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee connects with a body shot.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mccray pushes Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee has had enough of the clinch but Mccray keeps him there for the moment.

Mccray drags the fight down to the ground.
Mccray has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position.
Mccray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.

Mccray prevents Lee from getting back to his feet.
Mccray working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lee's head.

Mccray stands up from Lee's guard - Mccray perhaps looking for a knockout.
Lee is breathing heavily.

Mccray dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mccray has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mccray pushes Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
Mccray has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Lee tries to circle away but Mccray has him pinned against the cage.

Mccray gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lee regains guard.
Lee is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mccray dives into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!


Mccray decides to stand back up. Mccray steps back and let's Lee get back to his feet.
Lee looks to land a left hand but Mccray moved out of range nicely.
Mccray looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Jackie Lee seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lee falls off balance throwing a combination

and Mccray moves into the clinch.

Mccray looking for a takedown.
Lee is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Mccray wants the takedown. Lee is fighting it off but Mccray persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lee's guard against the cage.
Lee is wriggling around but Mccray manages to pass to half guard.

Kenny Mccray overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mccray decides to stand and escape the position.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Lee misses with a combination

and Mccray counters with a shoot takedown. Lee fights it but they end up in guard.
Lee wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mccray manages to pass to side control.

Mccray content to control rather than advance.

Mccray escapes and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mccray has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mccray displaying some good clinch control by pressing Lee up against the cage.

Mccray has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lee uses from the top position.
Mccray lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Mccray is pulling down on Lee's head to control his posture.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Lee feints a jab promting Mccray to slip. Lee then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mccray slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Lee scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mccray doesn't seem bothered though.

Lee is trying to break the clinch but Mccray has him pressed against the cage.

Lee is looking to stand up but Mccray won't let him.

Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Mccray counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lee wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mccray manages to pass to side control.
Mccray is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lee can do to turn this around?

Lee wanted to stand there but Mccray had control of the position.

Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mccray lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Lee tries to bum rush Mccray with a series of wild strikes but Mccray uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lee throws out a loose jab but Mccray uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lee takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lee looks to land a combination but Mccray avoids it well.

Mccray takes the fight into the clinch.

Mccray pulls guard effortlessly.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mccray is on top in guard.


Mccray decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jackie Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Mccray closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Mccray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Mccray counters by moving into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mccray pulls Lee in to control the position.

Mccray is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Lee rolls with it to try and escape but Mccray cranks on the arm and Lee is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
