Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chen Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chen Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edgar Davids! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davids misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davids clinches up with Dong and pushes him back against the cage. Dong gets control of Davids's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dong will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Davids missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Davids with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Dong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davids is one step ahead there. Dong trying to control the position.
Davids postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dong is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Davids lands a couple of digs. Dong can't keep his opponent in guard - Davids advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dong kicks Davids off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Dong looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dong is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Davids. Dong has Davids up against the cage in a clinch.
Davids digs a right hand underneath Dong's ribcage. Dong let out a lung full of air as it connected. Davids wants to break the clinch but can't.
Davids throws a knee to the head but misses.
Davids digs a right hand into Dong's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dong's gas tank. Davids wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dong has him pressed against the cage. Dong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nice jab there from Davids. Dong is breathing heavily. Davids tries to clinch up. Dong takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Davids shoots in and bounces Dong off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davids accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davids postures up and lands a big shot to Dong's brow. Davids working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dong's head. Dong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Davids cracks Dong with a solid left hand. Davids postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dong has momentary wrist control but Davids slips an elbow through the middle. Davids content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Davids throwing strikes but missing. Davids decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Davids will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids fails with the takedown. Dong scores with a leg kick.
Dong gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Davids breaks the clinch.
Davids looks to score with a jab to the body but Dong is just out of range. Davids tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dong paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dong throws a shot to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Davids. No joy for Dong on that attempt. Davids clinches but Dong breaks the clinch and Dong counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dong. Dong is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Davids is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Davids has escaped and now he's on top! Davids in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davids missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Davids trying to control but Dong is working from the bottom. Dong is trying to keep Davids in close.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dong keeping full guard, as Davids tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edgar Davids dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Davids is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Davids tries to land knees in the clinch but Dong avoids the damage to the body. Dong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davids has a takedown stuffed. Dong takes the fight into the clinch. Davids changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dong fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dong drives through with a takedown into guard. Dong wants to control from the top but Davids keeps moving. Dong sitting in guard here, content to control. Davids will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davids is trying to control the position but Dong postures up. Dong won't allow Davids to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davids looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dong puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Davids has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dong is working away from the top position though.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Davids changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dong tries to avoid it but Davids manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dong to the ground. Dong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chen Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edgar Davids. Davids misses with a two punch combination.
Davids looks to land a combination but Dong avoids it well. Dong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chen Dong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dong gets the takedown into side control. Chen Dong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dong decides to stand back up. Dong steps back and let's Davids get back to his feet. Dong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Davids circles away. Dong fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Davids changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dong is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Davids cracks Dong with an elbow. That is naaassty. Dong struggling a bit here. Dong manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids slips a nice elbow through Dong's hands, connecting with Dong's forehead. Dong tries to roll over but Davids keeps him under control. Davids looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dong is pressing down on Davids's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dong tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dong will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davids throws a head kick but Dong moves out of range.
Davids shoots in looking for a takedown. Dong tries to sprawl out of it but Davids keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dong lands a nice looking kick to the body. Davids takes a step back to recover. Davids throws a sloppy head kick and Dong moves out of range easily. Davids throws a lazy head kick and Dong counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Davids! Davids working to try and regain half guard.
Dong with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Dong trying to control but Davids is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chen Dong dominated that second round. That's time! Dong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Dong shoots for a takedown but Davids saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Horrible takedown by Davids or perhaps it was just good defense by Dong which made him look bad. Dong stuffs the takedown. Dong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dong with shots to the head and body - Davids looks very uncomfortable down there. Dong has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davids's face.
Davids wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dong sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Davids is looking to improve his position but Dong isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dong controlling his opponent. Davids is squirming around, avoiding Dong's attempts to control the action. Davids landing with some feeble shots from his back... He should probably try escaping the position instead. Dong swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Davids is now in Dong's guard. A big mistake from Dong there, giving up the dominant position!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Davids scoring with some ground and pound. Dong is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Davids wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. Davids with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Dong is trying to keep Davids in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids wanted to stand there but Dong had control of the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Davids wants to clinch and Dong moves into the clinch. Dong slows down the pace here.
Dong gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Davids.
Chen Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edgar Davids. Dong misses with a knee strike.
Davids takes an elbow to the temple. Davids breaks from the clinch.
Davids rushes Dong and presses him up against the cage. A short uppercut from Davids. Dong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Davids tries for a takedown. No joy.
Davids lands a nice shot to the body. Davids can't break the clinch.
Davids is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dong gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Davids lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Davids is trying to break free. Dong turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Dong trying to control the action but Davids is working from the bottom. Davids tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dong trying to control the position but Davids is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Chen Dong showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dong has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
