PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hop Sing Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyry Kontio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jung's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kontio has his takedown stuffed

and Jung counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kontio is trying to drag Jung to the mat but Jung just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jung gets through Kontio's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Jung turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Jung is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kontio has escaped the position, nice work there.
A lull in the action here as Jung stalls from top position.

Jung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kontio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jung has his foot on Kontio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kontio works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Jung or perhaps it was just good defense by Kontio, which made it look bad.

Jung is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Kontio postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jung looks a forlorn figure.
