The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Williams. A cross from Williams lands. Blake defending well as Williams loads up on a big left hand. And Blake tries to counter it with a takedown but Williams pushes his down on his head and steps out. Williams misses with a looping left. Blake changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Blake misses with a takedown and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Williams lands a body shot.
Blake slips a jab from Williams. Blake throws a big shot that misses. Williams is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams throws a lazy right hand but Blake sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Blake tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Williams throws a jab but it's blocked by Blake. Blake can't keep hold of the triangle and Williams manages to pass to side control! Blake is being controlled here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blake misses with an elbow from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! D'Wayne Williams showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
