Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Silvers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Babbage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Con te Partiro. Chris Silvers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Silvers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Babbage! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silvers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Babbage swivels and escapes. Babbage catches Silvers with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Chris Silvers has been cut. Silvers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Babbage sprawls well initially but Silvers persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Babbage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silvers is working away from the top position though. Silvers looks to land a strike but Babbage avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Babbage wants to get back to his feet but Silvers is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Babbage pulls Silvers in to control the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silvers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Silvers looking to pass the guard. Babbage controls Silvers momentarily but Silvers frees himself. Silvers won't allow Babbage to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Babbage fails to land with a series of punches.
Silvers closes the distance and clinches up with Babbage, looking for a takedown. Silvers pushes Babbage against the cage but Babbage circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silvers ducks under a wild hook from Babbage. Silvers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silvers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Babbage is fending him off so far but Silvers persists. Nope, Babbage circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Silvers. That's going to take a lot out of him. A bone on bone clash there as Silvers blocks the leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silvers. A big left from Babbage misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Silvers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Babbage pinned against the cage. Babbage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Babbage takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Babbage looks to land a combination. Silvers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Babbage lands a head kick that stumbles Silvers and the fighters go to the mat. Babbage postures up.
Silvers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Babbage controls the pace. Silvers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Babbage is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silvers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Babbage's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silvers struggling to land strikes to the head as Babbage covers up. Babbage wants to control his opponent's hands but Silvers gets his hands free. Babbage covering up well under a barage of strikes. Silvers is looking for the choke from the back position but Babbage is controlling his hands well. Silvers working for a choke but Babbage is defending well. Silvers is breathing heavily. Babbage tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Babbage is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Babbage might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Silvers kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Babbage is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Silvers is staying active. Silvers jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Babbage is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Babbage and Silvers has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Babbage prevents Silvers from moving into mount. Babbage is not content to let Silvers control the position. Babbage manages to work his way to half guard, despite Silvers's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Babbage throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Silvers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Babbage pinned against the cage. Babbage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Babbage swings for the body but Silvers moves out of range.
Silvers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Silvers drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silvers shoots in and drives through. Babbage sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Silvers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silvers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Babbage is fending him off so far but Silvers persists. Nope, Babbage circles away and we're back to standing. Silvers needs to keep his hands up - Babbage had a free shot at his head there.

Babbage tries to bum rush Silvers with a series of wild strikes but Silvers uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Babbage connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Silvers to the floor! Babbage dives in looking for the finish!
Silvers is rocked! Well, if Babbage is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Silvers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ground and pound from Babbage. Silvers looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Silvers wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Babbage working Silvers over with strikes. Babbage trying to control from half guard but Silvers is working away. Silvers moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Silvers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Babbage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Silvers has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Babbage is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silvers. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silvers is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Babbage wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silvers, who protects the arm well. Babbage controls the position. Babbage has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Chris Silvers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Babbage goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Chris Silvers's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. The fighters circling - Babbage throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Babbage misses with a looping right. Jab, jab by Babbage - just one landing. Chris Silvers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Babbage misses with an uppercut. Babbage throws a series of punches but Silvers moves out of range. Babbage misses with a wild combination.
Babbage lands with a right hand. Babbage might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Babbage fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jeez, Chris Silvers's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Babbage wants to clinch up but Silvers keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charles Babbage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Chris Silvers's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Silvers tries to land a body kick and Silvers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A big left from Babbage misses. Silvers with a poor takedown and Babbage counters with a lovely straight right hand! Silvers takes one to the chin there. Silvers doesn't succeed with the takedown and Babbage counters with a three punch combo that has Silvers backing up. Silvers nods at Babbage to acknowledge the strikes. Silvers with a lazy takedown attempt and Babbage counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Silvers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Babbage works Silvers's body with a nice hook. Babbage throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silvers has his takedown stuffed and Babbage counters with a left to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babbage lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Silvers takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Silvers tries to move into range but Babbage moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Silvers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
