Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Elvis Glass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Matej Rambo! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Glass lands in his opponent's guard. Glass won't allow Rambo to get back to his feet. Glass slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Glass with a nice head shot there. Rambo is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Rambo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Glass throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rambo blocks it with crossed arms. Rambo breaks from the clinch.

and Glass counters with a big head kick but Rambo shrugs it off. Glass manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rambo on his heels. He'll look to pass Rambo's guard now, I'm sure. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Glass is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Glass with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Glass stops Rambo from standing up. Rambo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Glass stands and steps away. Rambo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rambo looks winded!

Glass pulls guard successfully.
Rambo wants to stand but Glass has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rambo trying to control the position from guard on top but Glass is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rambo throws an elbow that misses. Glass uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rambo's guard. Nice move by Glass!
Glass gets to his feet - Rambo follows without any prompting. Matej Rambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's two minutes gone in the round. Glass shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rambo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rambo wants to stand up but Glass is controlling him. Glass slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Glass is working Rambo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Glass has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Glass chips away with some ground and pound. Glass stands up over Rambo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Glass stands up and waves to Rambo to follow him. Rambo has closed the distance and engaged Glass in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Glass manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rambo manages to get himself to full guard.
Glass stands up from guard. Let's bang! Glass shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Glass showed some decent athleticism there. Rambo is trying to stand back up but Glass is controlling him
Glass takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rambo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Glass lands a nice short elbow. Glass is working for a kimura but Rambo is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Glass postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Rambo to stand up. Rambo moves into the clinch. Glass ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Glass no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Rambo throwing strikes but missing. Glass wants to get back to his feet but Rambo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Rambo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rambo wants to stand but Glass has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rambo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Glass is keeping the position for now. Rambo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Glass, pushing him back against the cage. Glass swings wildly with an uppercut but Rambo uses good head movement to avoid it. Rambo stalling against the cage.

Glass wants to get back to his feet but Rambo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Glass is adopting a defensive guard. Glass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Glass has picked Rambo up - he's going for a ride! Glass dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Rambo manages to escape and get back to his feet! Rambo gets caught napping as Glass dives in and scores a takedown. Rambo manages to retain guard. Glass seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Elvis Glass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Glass working some strikes from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rambo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Glass is controlling him. Glass gets to his feet - Rambo follows without any prompting. That's four minutes gone in the round. Glass breaks from Rambo's wrist control and lands an elbow. Glass landing punches. Glass is working for a guillotine from mount but Rambo frees his head quite easily.
Rambo is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Glass takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rambo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Glass working Rambo over with strikes here. Elvis Glass dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Is there anything that Rambo can do to turn this around? Glass has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rambo's face.
Glass cracks Rambo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rambo is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Rambo trying desperately to get to his feet.

Rambo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Glass lands a couple of good shots and Rambo has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's one minute gone in the round. Glass is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Rambo seems to have recovered his senses. Glass lands strikes to the head. Glass looking for the choke but no joy. Oooh a big shot gets through from Glass. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Rambo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Glass gets his way!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rambo manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rambo darts in and clinches Glass up against the cage. Rambo jumps guard but Glass stands there with Rambo around his waist. Rambo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Glass seems to be working for a kimura but Rambo defends the submission attempt. Rambo tries to kick Glass off in order to stand up. Glass gets to his feet. Rambo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Glass scores with a takedown into Rambo's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glass postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Glass stops Rambo from standing up. Matej Rambo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Glass content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rambo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Glass controls the pace. Glass makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Elvis Glass showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glass, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
