Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Allan Von Reinar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Baishakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Von Reinar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iron Maiden - Fear of the dark. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrey Baishakov! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Von Reinar doesn't manage to clinch there - Baishakov circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Von Reinar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baishakov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Von Reinar misses with a head kick.

Von Reinar shoots in for a takedown but Baishakov shows good takedown defense. Von Reinar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baishakov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Von Reinar lands a head kick. Baishakov smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Andrey Baishakov has been cut. Baishakov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. A lull in the action here. Von Reinar is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Baishakov asserts his dominance and retains side control. The referee asks Baishakov politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Baishakov prefers to stall for the moment though. Von Reinar is looking to reverse the position.

Baishakov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baishakov takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Baishakov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Von Reinar has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Baishakov is trying to stick to Von Reinar's back but Von Reinar is turning into Baishakov. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Baishakov's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Von Reinar. Von Reinar trying to control but Baishakov is working from the bottom. Baishakov is pulling down on Von Reinar's head. It's preventing any offense from Von Reinar, at least for the moment. Von Reinar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Baishakov's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Baishakov is controlling Von Reinar's posture. Von Reinar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Von Reinar defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Baishakov thowing shots but they're missing. Baishakov looking to control and managing it successfully. Let's hope that Baishakov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
