Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rock Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Lefleaur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes into the arena with Hell Yeah blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine wants to clinch but Lefleaur slips to the side
and Lefleaur counters with a nice uppercut.
Lefleaur ducks under a wild hook from Machine.
Lefleaur jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Machine tries to bum rush Lefleaur with a series of wild strikes but Lefleaur uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Machine fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lefleaur looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lefleaur has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Lefleaur gets caught napping as Machine dives in and scores a takedown. Lefleaur manages to retain guard.

Lefleaur is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lefleaur might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lefleaur is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rock Machine will probably get the nod.
