Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fadden might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You Will Never Be One Of Us by NAILS. Stanfield has chosen Legendary as his entrance music. John Fadden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, John Fadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marlo Stanfield! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fadden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stanfield sprawls well. Stanfield wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fadden gets slowly back to his feet. Stanfield throws a jab but it's blocked by Fadden. Stanfield avoids the head kick by Fadden.
Stanfield walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Stanfield checks a low kick from Fadden. Stanfield ducks under a wild hook from Fadden. Fadden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stanfield avoids the head kick by Fadden.
John Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fadden misses with a kick to the body and Stanfield counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fadden throws the left hand but Stanfield avoids the punch easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fadden wants to land a leg kick but Stanfield is out of range. Fadden loads up on a big right hand but Stanfield slips the punch. A telegraphed right hand from Fadden misses the target. Fadden throws a push kick but Stanfield slaps the foot to one side. Stanfield checks a low kick from Fadden.
That's one minute gone in the round. A low kick from Fadden misses and Stanfield counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fadden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stanfield. Fadden misses with a wild combination.
Fadden misses with a body kick. Stanfield appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Stanfield on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Fadden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stanfield moves away. Fadden throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Stanfield tries to bum rush Fadden with a series of wild strikes but Fadden uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stanfield avoids the body shot from Fadden.
Stanfield has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Stanfield there as he acknowledges the shot. Fadden misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fadden fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A chopping leg kick lands by Fadden. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fadden rushes Stanfield and presses him up against the cage. Stanfield is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fadden misses with an elbow over the top. Stanfield wants to break the clinch but can't.

Stanfield wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Fadden is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Stanfield is defending well for now. Stanfield wants to get back to striking at distance but Fadden won't allow it.

Stanfield breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fadden with a hook. An inside leg kick lands from Fadden. Fadden lands with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanfield misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stanfield has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Fadden uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stanfield. Stanfield connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fadden's hands. Fadden misses with a takedown attempt - Stanfield sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Fadden. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fadden's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fadden duly obliges. Stanfield checks the leg kick. Some wild striking there from Fadden.
Stanfield is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Fadden throws a leg kick and Stanfield counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fadden misses with an attempted mid kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Stanfield misses. Stanfield swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fadden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Stanfield! But no joy. Fadden swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fadden changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stanfield looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fadden wants to control but Stanfield is keeping him busy. Stanfield wants to get back to his feet. Stanfield is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Fadden dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Stanfield counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fadden attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. It seemed like Stanfield was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Fadden dodges the punch combination from Stanfield.
Fadden tries to work over Stanfield's front leg with a kick but Stanfield checks it. Stanfield dips to his left and cracks Fadden with an uppercut! Fadden changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stanfield looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fadden is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stanfield is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Fadden trying to control the action but Stanfield is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ground and pound from Fadden seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. An elbow from Fadden crashes against the mat.
Stanfield is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fadden asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fadden is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stanfield knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stanfield is being controlled here. An elbow from Fadden crashes against the mat.
Stanfield is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Fadden thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Stanfield wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Stanfield throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Stanfield tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fadden was well out of range. Poor timing from Stanfield. Fadden throws a nice outside leg kick. Fadden throws a half hearted mid kick. Fadden throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stanfield on the side of the head. The crowd cheers as Stanfield lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fadden doesn't seem phased though. Stanfield checks a leg kick. Fadden rushes Stanfield and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stanfield breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stanfield throws a right and a left that both miss. Marlo Stanfield is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stanfield checks a leg kick. Fadden misses with a body kick. Fadden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stanfield pinned against the cage. Stanfield gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stanfield.
Stanfield scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A clash of legs there as Stanfield blocks the low kick. Stanfield unleashes a big counter combination but Fadden bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Stanfield lands an overhand right. Fadden darts in trying to clinch and Stanfield counters with a nice uppercut. Fadden fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stanfield checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Stanfield steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fadden. Fadden fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Stanfield is out of range. Fadden looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Fadden connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Fadden shoots in looking for a takedown but Stanfield manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fadden's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Despite the aggression on Stanfield's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Stanfield leaves Fadden with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A nice side step and Stanfield releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. John Fadden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A left lands for Fadden. Fadden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fadden changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A chopping leg kick lands by Fadden. Fadden avoids a punch combination nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fadden. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Marlo Stanfield will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Stanfield connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Oooooh!!! Stanfield has knocked Fadden down with a huge combo! Stanfield steps away and waves a wobbly Fadden back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like John Fadden has been cut. Stanfield connects with a stiff jab that staggers Fadden - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Marlo Stanfield! During a confident post fight interview, Marlo Stanfield thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
