Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Princess Penny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Taran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Princess Penny has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Princess Penny seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Taran!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taran will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Penny circles away from the clinch attempt.

The fight stays on the outside here - Taran looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Penny's jab looks to have found its range, popping Taran under the eye.
Penny definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Taran moves to clinch but Penny breaks away
and Penny counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taran just misses with a punch to the body.
Penny throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Taran counters with a left and a right that stings Penny.
Penny avoids a kick to the body.
Alexander Taran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Penny misses.
Penny lands a big uppercut and Taran crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Taran looks OK. Penny waves Taran back to his feet!
Taran is rocked!
It looks like Alexander Taran has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taran tries to close the distance and clinch but Penny swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Taran wants to clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Penny on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A head kick by Taran misses
and Penny counters with a crisp right hand that drops Taran! Penny lets Taran back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Taran is still on wobbly legs! Can Penny finish him?
Penny blocks the body kick.
Taran seems to have recovered his senses.
Penny circles away from the clinch attempt
and Penny counters with a huge left! Taran is in big trouble! He's backing up but Penny isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Taran from any more damage. A dominating finish by Penny!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Princess Penny!
A relieved looking Princess Penny thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
