Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

34 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Jordan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan scores with a shot to the body.
Jordan wants to land a leg kick but Bryant is out of range. Jordan misses with a leg kick and Bryant counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jordan throws a half hearted mid kick. It looked like Bryant wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jordan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jordan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bryant's head backwards.
It looks like Gerbert Bryant has been cut. Jordan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bryant checks a leg kick. Jordan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A low kick from Jordan misses and Bryant counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Jordan taking a bit of punishment here - Bryant scoring with strikes. Bryant postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Bryant has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryant works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Jordan is looking to reverse the position. Jordan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bryant lands a nice short elbow. Bryant scoring with strikes to the body and head. Jordan is trying to stand back up but Bryant is controlling him
Jordan is looking to get back to full guard here but Bryant has managed to pass to side control instead. Bryant creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Bryant in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Jordan looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Bryant turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gerbert Bryant! Gerbert Bryant retains his super heavyweight title! A relieved looking Gerbert Bryant thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
