And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preto scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Preto creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Delacruz sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Delacruz is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Preto's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Preto is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Delacruz wants to improve his position but Preto is controlling well.
Preto stops Delacruz from getting back to his feet.
Preto seems to be working for a kimura but Delacruz defends the submission attempt.
Delacruz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delacruz is trying to stand.
Preto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Delacruz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Delacruz is trying to control but can't.

Delacruz is looking to escape.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Preto connects with a nice short shot to Delacruz's temple.
Delacruz is rocked!
Preto lands a big elbow - Delacruz is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Preto!
