The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masterson throws a sloppy head kick and David moves out of range easily.
David moves into the clinch.
Masterson blocks an elbow strike.
David prevents a takedown attempt there.

David really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
David drives through and clinches with Masterson against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

David stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Masterson throws up his legs and catches David in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! David tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Masterson! That came out of nowhere!
