Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Krokup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roger Cannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Krokup! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krokup misses with a series of wild punches.
Cannon is looking to counter punch. Krokup clinches. Cannon is trying to push Krokup away but Krokup has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Cannon blocking some punches.
Krokup jumps guard.
Cannon is looking to work some ground and pound but Krokup has wrist control. Krokup has a closed guard, preventing Cannon from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cannon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cannon really is a fat lump. Krokup is trying to control the position but Cannon postures up. Cannon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krokup swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cannon wants to control from the top but Krokup keeps moving. Cannon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Krokup controls Cannon momentarily but Cannon frees himself. Cannon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cannon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Daniel Krokup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krokup shoots in and drives through. Cannon sprawls well. Krokup closes the distance and pushes Cannon back into the cage. Cannon jumps guard and drags Krokup to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Krokup slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cannon managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cannon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cannon trying to keep a closed guard but Krokup is proving a slippery customer.
Cannon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cannon wants to get back to his feet but Krokup passes into half guard.
Cannon is doing well to control the position and prevent Krokup from advancing to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cannon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krokup is working away from the top position though. Krokup seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Krokup wants to pass the guard but Cannon is defending well. Krokup is thwarting Cannon's attempts to control the position. Krokup looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Krokup seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cannon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Krokup wants to stand up but Cannon has a hold of him and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cannon trying to hold on to Krokup's head to control him but Krokup postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Krokup wants to stand but Cannon has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Krokup fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cannon manages to avoid it. Krokup has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cannon gets control of Krokup's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cannon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Cannon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krokup defends well. Krokup wants to control from the top but Cannon keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Krokup dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Krokup throws a leg kick but Cannon sees it coming and moves out of range. Krokup clinches up against the cage. Cannon is trying to pull guard but Krokup has him pressed against the cage. Krokup has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cannon lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Cannon manages to pull guard.
Krokup pushes down on Cannon's leg and manages to get into half guard. Cannon throws a strike from the bottom but Krokup passes into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round. A control attempt from Cannon but he's now mounted! Cannon tries to lock up and control but Krokup gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Krokup looking to finish Cannon with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cannon! Cannon tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Krokup has taken his back. Krokup avoiding Cannon 's attempts to control his hands. Krokup trying to control. I really don't envy Cannon right now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krokup wants to control but Cannon is keeping busy. Krokup working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Cannon is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Krokup has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Cannon taps out!
