Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Os (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Os!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Carter!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to clinch up but Os circles away and keeps his distance.
Os walks into a left hand.

Os closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Well, if Os is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Os tries to pass to full mount but Carter defends it.
Os missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carter is trying to stand back up but Os is controlling him

Carter is defending against the submission attempts here by Os.
Still in half guard, Os seems content to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Os postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Carter to stand up.
Os defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carter.

Os shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Os trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Os in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Carter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Os slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Os slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Os controlling from side mount.

Os has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Os closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Os lands in his opponent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Os stops Carter from standing up.
Os engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Carter looks winded!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Carter trying to control the position.
Os slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Os dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Carter wants to clinch.
Os is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carter can do to turn this around?
Os feints a jab promting Carter to slip. Os then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Carter slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Carter fails with an attempt to clinch.
Os avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carter on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Os clinches up against the cage.
Carter is trying to break the clinch but Os has him pressed against the cage.

Os breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Os changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A lull in the action here as Os stalls from top position.
Os passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Carter!
Os takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Os working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Os sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Os with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Os controlling the pace for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carter wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Carter is desperately trying to improve his position but Os has a good base and remains in mount.

Os is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Carter is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Carter flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Os anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Carter and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Os slips an arm under Carter chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Os has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Os is squeezing on Carter like an anaconda would it's prey. Carter fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tom Os!
