The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sensei tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lepkowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lepkowski appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sensei shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sensei showed some decent athleticism there.
Sensei lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Sensei moves nicely into side control.
Sensei controlling the position from side mount.
Sensei is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lepkowski is trying to escape and Sensei transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lepkowski is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sensei! Very nice indeed!
