Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Taylor Wooten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooten takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
As Anderson tries to get set, Wooten tries to push him back and clinch up but Anderson manages to avoid the attempt.

Anderson gets caught napping as Wooten dives in and scores a takedown. Anderson manages to retain guard.
Anderson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Anderson has a closed guard, preventing Wooten from standing up.
Wooten will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wooten manages to pass to side control.
Wooten looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Wooten prevents Anderson from improving his position.
Wooten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wooten is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Anderson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Wooten takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Wooten is working for a submission of some sort.
Wooten perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wooten not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Wooten controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooten's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Anderson is trying to maintain the position but Wooten is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Anderson is looking to improve his position.
Anderson trying to hold on to Wooten's head to control him but Wooten postures up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Wooten tries to sprawl but Anderson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Anderson wants to take a breather but Wooten is having none of it.

Wooten has hold of Anderson's hands but Anderson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wooten is trying is best to control the position here.
Anderson is pressing down on Wooten's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wooten is holding on for now.
It looks like Anderson is going to stand back up.
Wooten wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
Wooten wants to get back to his feet.
Anderson wants to take a breather but Wooten is having none of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Anderson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wooten to the mat! Wooten manages to get full guard.
Wooten wants to stand and escape but Anderson is having none of it.
Wooten is breathing heavily.
Wooten has a closed guard, preventing Anderson from standing up.
Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Wooten is retaining full guard.
Anderson is working Wooten over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Anderson trying to control but Wooten is working from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wooten has his hands on Anderson's head, controlling the position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Taylor Wooten will probably get the nod.

Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Wooten is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wooten takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wooten is trying to improve his position.

Wooten sneaks out the side door and pushes Anderson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Anderson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wooten is looking to regain half guard here but Anderson keeps moving and retains side control.

Anderson tries for a kimura but Wooten is defending well.
Taylor Wooten overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Anderson trying to control the position but Wooten is working away.
Wooten is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Anderson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Anderson wants to control but Wooten is keeping him busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Wooten is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Anderson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Wooten to see if he's OK.

Anderson wants to control but Wooten is keeping him busy.
Wooten tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Anderson cracks Wooten with a big right hand but Wooten just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wooten keeps working.
You can see the frustration on Wooten's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wooten tries to bench press Anderson off him but Anderson keeps the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Anderson misses with a low kick.
Wooten keeps the fight on the outside.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Anderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Wooten closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Anderson's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Anderson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Wooten has his hands clasped together but Anderson extends and breaks Wooten's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Anderson.
