Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Boggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rotten might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lynard Skynard- Simple Man. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Willy Boggs is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Rotten! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willy Boggs! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rotten tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boggs swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rotten avoids the body shot from Boggs.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Rotten looking to throw knees to the head but Boggs is blocking nicely.
Boggs blocks an uppercut.
Nice elbow from Rotten.
It looks like Willy Boggs has been cut. Boggs working some nice short punches in the clinch. Boggs dodges an elbow strike from Rotten.
Boggs fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Boggs fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rotten throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Boggs blocks it with crossed arms. Boggs jumps guard but Rotten stands there with Boggs around his waist. Boggs gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've been informed that Boggs has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boggs tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Eddy Rotten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Willy Boggs. Rotten misses with a knee strike.

Rotten definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rotten throws a knee to the head but misses.

Rotten lands an elbow inside. Rotten tries to land a knee to the head but Boggs blocks with his arms.
Boggs has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rotten misses with an elbow strike.
Boggs is trying to break free. Boggs lands with a left to the head. Rotten throws an elbow but it misses.
Boggs takes an elbow to the forehead.
That has opened up Willy Boggs's cut even more. A nice left hand lands by Boggs.
Rotten misses with an elbow over the top. Rotten throws a punch but it's blocked by Boggs. A nice glancing elbow lands by Rotten. Boggs tries to circle away but Rotten has him pinned against the cage. A knee to the head by Rotten.
Rotten lands an elbow that stopped Boggs in his tracks for a moment.
The cut above Willy Boggs's eye is starting to cause him problems now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rotten misses with the head strike.
Rotten lands an elbow inside. Rotten gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Rotten takes a shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rotten pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. A short right from Boggs. Rotten lands an elbow that stopped Boggs in his tracks for a moment.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Willy Boggs's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Eddy Rotten! Eddy Rotten is the new middleweight champion! In his post fight interview, Eddy Rotten started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
