Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but August moves away.
Mitchell moves into range and connects with a jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mitchell.
Mitchell throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by August.
Mitchell shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. August is trying to defend but Mitchell finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mitchell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Mitchell is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Mitchell is nestled in close to August, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

August has hold of Mitchell's hands but Mitchell slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mitchell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Mitchell seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down August for as long as he can get away with.
Mitchell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mitchell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of August's face.
