Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Seivard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seivard's entrance music is Reap and Sow- L'Astronaut. A fine choice. Cage has chosen Evolution : Enter The New World as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kyle Seivard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tristan Cage!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seivard moves into the clinch successfully.
Cage jumps guard but Seivard stands there with Cage around his waist. Cage gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cage.

Cage kicks off Seivard and gets to his feet.

Seivard moves into range and clinches up with Cage.

Cage pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cage moves out of range of the leg kick from Seivard.
It seemed like Cage was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kyle Seivard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cage throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Seivard circles away.
Kyle Seivard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tristan Cage.
Cage will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Seivard is fighting to break Cage's control of his arms but Cage is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Seivard is working Cage over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Seivard stands and steps away. Cage gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Seivard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Seivard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Cage fails with the takedown.
Seivard throws a body punch but Cage moves out of range.
Seivard is looking to land body kicks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Seivard. Cage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cage tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Cage or perhaps it was just good defense by Seivard, which made it look bad.

Seivard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cage with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cage on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Seivard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Seivard is looking to wear down Cage with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Seivard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cage looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Seivard is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Seivard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cage on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Seivard connects with a nice short shot to Cage's temple.

Cage throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Seivard's waist but Seivard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cage off to one side.

Seivard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cage's guard.

Well Seivard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
