Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonia Bailey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Soul! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bailey tries to counter by clinching up but Soul breaks away and moves out of range. Soul shoots for a takedown but Bailey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bailey throwing a counter right hand but Soul manages to avoid it. Soul tries to clinch but Bailey is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Soul looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Soul is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A counter left hand to the body from Bailey misses its target. Soul tries to clinch there but Bailey circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Soul pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Soul lands a left and a right that send Bailey crashing to the mat, dazed. Soul thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bailey is rocked!
It looks like Antonia Bailey has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice takedown defense from Bailey. No joy for Soul on that attempt. Bailey is looking to counter punch. Oh Bailey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Soul has Bailey up against the cage in a clinch.
Soul decides to pull guard. Soul manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Nice body punch from Soul. Bailey is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bailey wants to take the fight to the mat but Soul manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Soul pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soul closes the distance and clinches. Soul scores with a hook to the body. Bailey seems to have got his legs back now. Bailey manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Soul gets to his feet - Bailey follows without any prompting. Bailey instigates a clinch. Bailey keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Soul's efforts to push away. Soul breaks the clinch.
Soul throws a series of punches but Bailey moves out of range. Bailey appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Soul tries to clinch there but Bailey circles away.
Soul gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Soul is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bailey tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonia Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bailey manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soul fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bailey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
David Soul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bailey throws a head kick that misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Soul tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Soul fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Soul misses with a wild combination.
Soul looks winded! The fight stays on the outside here - Soul looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Soul tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bailey counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bailey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bailey throws a strike but Soul rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bailey looking for a sweep. Not yet Bailey, not yet. Bailey controlling Soul's posture. Bailey is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bailey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bailey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Soul tries to kick Bailey off in order to stand up. Bailey Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Soul tries to escape but Bailey is in control. Soul is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Bailey working the head with strikes. Soul is trying to get back to his feet. Bailey looks up at the clock and then as Soul takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bailey smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Bailey tries to score a body lock takedown but Soul shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Soul pulls guard. Bailey won't allow Soul to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soul manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Soul is stalling here.
A frustrated look appears on Soul's face as he tries to break the clinch. Soul wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bailey drops down looking for an ankle pick but Soul pulls his leg out and moves away.
Soul has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Soul tries to close the distance and clinch but Bailey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Soul feints with a jab and clips Bailey right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Bailey is sent crashing into the canvas and Soul leaps in for the kill! Bailey tries to get to his feet but Soul is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Bailey is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Soul!
