Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Orr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donald Banks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donald Banks! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks gets in close and instigates a clinch. Orr is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Banks is defending well. Orr tries to score a body lock takedown but Banks shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Orr tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Octavio Orr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Banks breaks the clinch.
Banks gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Orr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Banks gets in close and instigates a clinch. Orr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Banks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Orr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Banks. Orr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Banks finds it's way round the side to connect with Orr's head.
It looks like Octavio Orr has been cut. Banks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Banks lands a left hand.
Orr tightens his grip and picks Banks up, before dumping him to the ground. Banks manages to land in guard.

No chance. Orr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Banks's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Orr landing some decent shots from guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Orr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Donald Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Banks looks winded! Banks closes the distance and pushes Orr back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orr is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Banks can't fight it off and eventually Orr manages to take the fight to the floor. Banks looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Banks is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Octavio Orr will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Octavio Orr's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Orr stands and steps away. Banks gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Orr fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Banks closes the distance and pushes Orr back into the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Orr is in close to Banks's body, working some short punches and elbows. Orr goes for a double leg but Banks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Banks continues to drive forward. Banks shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Orr's guard. Banks is breathing heavily. Banks is looking to stand up but Orr won't let him. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Banks is trying to get back to full guard. Banks on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
