Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ka'Ra LeVass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knapp has chosen Go to Sleep as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ka'Ra LeVass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
37 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Knapp! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LeVass has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from LeVass there as he acknowledges the shot. Knapp throws a jab but it's blocked by LeVass. LeVass looking to score a takedown here. Knapp is defending well but LeVass drives through and ends up in Knapp's guard. LeVass stops Knapp from standing up. Knapp working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from LeVass. Knapp utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. LeVass wants to control from the top but Knapp keeps moving. LeVass wants to pass the guard but Knapp is keeping the position. LeVass throws a strike but Knapp rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. LeVass has a closed guard, preventing Knapp from standing up. Knapp is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeVass bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Knapp's guard. Knapp keeping moving, preventing LeVass from controlling successfully. LeVass won't allow Knapp to get back to his feet. LeVass throwing strikes from guard but Knapp blocks nicely. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. LeVass throwing strikes from guard but Knapp blocks nicely. LeVass lands a couple of elbows. LeVass slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. LeVass throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. LeVass missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. LeVass throwing strikes but missing. Knapp wants to get back to his feet but LeVass is in a dominant position and won't allow it. LeVass missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. LeVass throws a body shot but no joy. Knapp shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with LeVass but LeVass pushes him off and we're back to square one. Knapp drops LeVass with a left and a right! Oh, LeVass is hurt - Knapp dives into side control looking to finish!
LeVass is rocked!
It looks like Ka'Ra LeVass has been cut. LeVass tries to improve position but can't. LeVass sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. LeVass trying to hold on to Knapp's head to control him but Knapp postures up.
Knapp tries to stand but can't do so whilst LeVass controls his leg. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! LeVass is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. LeVass desperately trying to maintain half guard. LeVass wants to get back to full guard. LeVass gets back to full guard.
Knapp tries to stand but LeVass is controlling from the bottom. Knapp gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. LeVass throws a shot to the body.
LeVass throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knapp stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Knapp falls off balance throwing a combination
and LeVass connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Peter Knapp will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ka'Ra LeVass's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Knapp with a body punch. A glancing blow. LeVass jabs Knapp right on the nose. Knapp blinks but takes it well. LeVass throws a hook but Knapp blocks it. LeVass throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Peter Knapp has been cut. LeVass closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Knapp to the mat! Knapp manages to get full guard. LeVass trying to control the position from guard on top but Knapp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Knapp being controlled here, momentarily. Knapp preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. LeVass trying to control the position from guard on top but Knapp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That's one minute gone in the round. LeVass is looking to work some ground and pound but Knapp has wrist control. LeVass trying to control but Knapp is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. LeVass slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Knapp misses with a jab to the body
and LeVass counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Knapp thinking. LeVass circles away from the clinch attempt.
Knapp thows a left - swing and a miss! LeVass stuffs the takedown. LeVass misses the shot to the body. LeVass slips a straight right by Knapp.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Knapp misses its intended target. LeVass moves out of range of the strikes. LeVass lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Knapp tries to score a power double leg takedown but LeVass sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knapp somewhat. It looked like LeVass wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Knapp lands a nice shot that snaps LeVass's head back.
Knapp's hands are dropping dangerously low here and LeVass connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Knapp scrambles back to his feet. Knapp fails to land with a series of punches.
LeVass lands a slapping body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! LeVass lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Knapp throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and LeVass counters with a straight right hand. LeVass lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Knapp misses with a double jab.
Knapp is breathing heavily. Knapp clinches with his opponent.
LeVass tightens his grip and picks Knapp up, before dumping him to the ground. Knapp manages to land in guard. LeVass is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knapp can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knapp wants to stand and escape but LeVass is having none of it. Knapp utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Knapp working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from LeVass. LeVass wants to control from the top but Knapp keeps moving. LeVass in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. LeVass postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Knapp keeping moving, preventing LeVass from controlling successfully.

LeVass scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Knapp throws a head kick but LeVass moves out of range.
Peter Knapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice jab there from LeVass. Knapp on the wrong end of a nice jab. LeVass comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. LeVass with a hook. Left hook, right uppercut from Knapp. LeVass digs a good hook to Knapp's body.
LeVass throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Knapp connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed LeVass momentarily.
LeVass throws a solid leg kick but Knapp takes the impact on his shin and smiles at LeVass. LeVass lands the left hand. LeVass scores with a crisp jab that stopped Knapp in his tracks. LeVass lands a slapping body shot.
LeVass lands with a good body shot. Knapp moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Knapp is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ka'Ra LeVass dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Knapp throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. LeVass doesn't succeed with the takedown and Knapp counters with a straight right hand. Knapp looks to throw the jab but LeVass is out of range. Knapp darts in trying to clinch and LeVass counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. LeVass throws a big shot that misses. Good leg kick by Knapp there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Knapp preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeVass stands up over Knapp, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. LeVass not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LeVass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. LeVass trying to control the position from guard on top but Knapp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. LeVass is really struggling to control Knapp but he's trying to hold on to the position. Knapp working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from LeVass. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. LeVass wants to control from the top but Knapp keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. LeVass blocks a jab. Knapp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. LeVass gets the takedown into side control. LeVass is looking to take a break and control but Knapp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. LeVass scores with a couple of short elbows. Knapp takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A lull in the action here as LeVass stalls from top position. Knapp wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! LeVass working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. LeVass has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knapp takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Knapp is pushing LeVass's head away, looking to escape. LeVass manages to hold on to the position though. LeVass landing strikes. Knapp is still in real trouble! Can LeVass finish him? LeVass sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Knapp is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

LeVass throwing strikes but missing. Knapp seems to have recovered his senses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LeVass accidentally thumps the mat.
