Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Ahokas!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ahokas as he jumps to the side.
Armstrong has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Armstrong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ahokas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Armstrong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Armstrong shoots and misses
and Ahokas counters with a right hand to the body.
Armstrong tries to clinch up but Ahokas circles away and keeps his distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ahokas! But no joy.
Ahokas misses the shot to the body.
Armstrong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Armstrong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Armstrong is defended easily by Ahokas.
Armstrong tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Ahokas counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Armstrong!
Ahokas lands a decent elbow from side control.
Ahokas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Armstrong keeps working.
Ahokas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Armstrong sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Armstrong is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Armstrong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Armstrong is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ahokas grinds an elbow into Armstrong's temple.

Ahokas cracks Armstrong with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Ahokas immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Armstrong is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Ahokas!
