27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Coleman Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karol Mirowski! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman Jr throws a nice inside leg kick. Mirowski scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Coleman Jr ducks under a wild hook from Mirowski. Coleman Jr tries to clinch up. Coleman Jr fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mirowski checks it well. Karol Mirowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mirowski lands a jab to the head.
Mirowski staying out of range there. Mirowski throws a big shot that misses. Coleman Jr defending well as Mirowski loads up on a big left hand. The fighters circling - Mirowski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Coleman Jr drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mirowski sprawls and moves away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coleman Jr tries to score with a low kick but Mirowski moves his leg out of the way. Mirowski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Coleman Jr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Coleman Jr gets a takedown into half guard.
