Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krug Barishkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Raban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barishkov comes to the cage accompanied by Angel of Death - Slayer. James Raban has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Krug Barishkov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krug Barishkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Raban! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raban misses with a series of wild punches.
Barishkov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Raban fails with the takedown and Barishkov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Raban takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Krug Barishkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barishkov misses with a leg kick. Barishkov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Raban. Raban is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Barishkov throws a leg kick that misses. And Raban tries to counter it with a takedown but Barishkov pushes his down on his head and steps out. Raban throws a hook to the side of Barishkov's head but Barishkov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Barishkov works Raban's body with a nice hook. Raban takes a jab right on the kisser.
A jab from Barishkov misses. Barishkov misses with a wild body shot. Barishkov throws a jab but it's blocked by Raban. Barishkov loads up on a big right hand but Raban slips the punch. We've been told by Barishkov's head coaches at Hugs & Kisses that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Raban lands a jab to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body kick there by Barishkov. Barishkov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Barishkov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Raban takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like James Raban has been cut. A punch lands to the side of Barishkov 's head but he takes it in his stride. We've been informed that Raban has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Barishkov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Raban throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A slapping body kick lands there for Raban. No luck for Raban with that takedown attempt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barishkov moves into the clinch successfully.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Good body shot from Raban.
Raban throws a head punch that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raban wants a takedown.
Krug Barishkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Raban. Come on Raban - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Raban lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barishkov backwards. Barishkov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Raban.
Raban misses with a hook from the clinch. Raban tries to score a body lock takedown but Barishkov shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Raban lands a hook that snaps the head of Barishkov backwards. A right hook to the body lands for Raban.
Raban lands a left hand that snaps the head of Barishkov backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Raban creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Raban on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Barishkov is rocked! Barishkov throws an elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raban has Barishkov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Barishkov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Barishkov misses with a punch to the body.
A shot in the inside from Raban. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Raban creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Oh Barishkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Raban lands a left hand.
Raban connects with a knee right up the middle! Barishkov tumbles to the floor and Raban stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). James Raban! James Raban tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. Krug Barishkov was interviewed post fight and said 'I can't believe i didn't knock that cracker out'.
