Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickie Hamilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamilton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ford wants to counter with a clinch but Hamilton pushes him away.
Ford changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ford feints and as Hamilton raises his hands in defense, Ford changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hamilton is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Ford pulls guard successfully.
Ford utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hamilton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ford works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ford can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hamilton controls the pace.
Hamilton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hamilton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hamilton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ford tries to roll over but Hamilton keeps him under control.
Hamilton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ford with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hamilton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ford tries to roll over but Hamilton keeps him under control.
Hamilton misses with a head shot. Ford uses the momentum to regain guard.
Hamilton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hamilton trying to control the position from guard on top but Ford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ford wants to sweep here but Hamilton controlling him for the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A lazy body kick from Ford
and Hamilton counters by clinching up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hamilton wants the takedown. Ford is fighting it off but Hamilton persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ford's guard against the cage.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hamilton's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ford is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ford might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hamilton haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hamilton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ford, up you get!
Hamilton wants to clinch but Ford slips to the side
and Ford counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ford shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ford was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hamilton throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Hamilton tries to clinch but Ford is having none of it.
Ford looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ford throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hamilton was covering up waiting for the punch and Ford finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hamilton manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ford throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hamilton takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hamilton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ford.

Ford drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hamilton pushes Ford off and scrambles back to his feet.
Ford clinches with his opponent.

Hamilton jumps guard but Ford turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hamilton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ford smiles and moves away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hamilton has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ford is on him like a limpet, forcing Hamilton back against the cage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hamilton throws a nice looking combination but Ford bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
