Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Gotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Petey Flowers! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gotti closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Flowers quickly recovers to half guard. Gotti seems to be working for a kimura but Flowers defends the submission attempt. Gotti will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Flowers is in trouble now - Gotti has advanced to mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gotti is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Flowers can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gotti looking to control but Flowers is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gotti wants to take his opponent's back but Flowers doesn't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gotti controlling from mount. Gotti is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Flowers is surviving well by controlling Gotti's body position as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flowers is squirming around, avoiding Gotti's attempts to control the action. Gotti takes Flowers's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Flowers is in trouble. Flowers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gotti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gotti has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Flowers's body.

Gotti has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Flowers is defending well but eventually Gotti manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Flowers has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
