The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez dives in for a single leg takedown but Heir sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Marquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Heir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Marquez sneaks out the side door and pushes Heir away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Marquez has closed the distance and engaged Heir in a clinch.
Marquez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Heir to keep the fight standing.
