Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Landon Stanley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Jones ! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones has a takedown stuffed. It looked like Stanley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Jones lands a big head kick that sends Stanley tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Stanley back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Stanley is rocked!
It looks like Landon Stanley has been cut. Jones with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jones drives through and clinches with Stanley against the cage.
Jones is trying to break free. Jones tries for a takedown but Stanley manages to get underhooks.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Stanley misses with an elbow over the top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stanley lands a right hand. Jones is working for takedown but Stanley is calmly controlling the position for now. Landon Stanley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Jones . Jones tries for a takedown. No joy.
Stanley doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones takes a shot to the head. Stanley is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jones to keep the fight standing. Stanley throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Stanley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Stanley drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Jones takes an elbow to the temple. Stanley lands a damaging elbow. Stanley misses with an elbow strike.
Jones jumps guard but Stanley stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jones blocks the elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones has Stanley pressed against the cage.
Stanley lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Jones prevents the takedown attempt.
Stanley gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Stanley is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jones is defending well for now. Stanley pushes off an throws an elbow but Jones leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Jones holding his opponent close, against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stanley lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Stanley prevents a body shot from Jones . A bit of stalling here from Stanley.
Stanley pushes off an throws an elbow but Jones leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanley lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Stanley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stanley is working away from the top position though. Stanley controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to control but Stanley is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Stanley shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones shapes to counter with a head kick. Ryan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones instigates a clinch. Stanley gets control of Jones 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stanley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Stanley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Landon Stanley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Landon Stanley's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones has his takedown stuffed and Stanley counters with a series of strikes. Jones will be more careful next time no doubt. Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stanley. Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stanley misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones rushes Stanley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanley is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jones goes for a takedown attempt but Stanley pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Landon Stanley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Jones . Stanley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stanley, pushing him back against the cage. Jones pulls guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jones is breathing heavily. Stanley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanley wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones is looking to stand up but Stanley isn't so interested in that idea. Jones looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Stanley puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Stanley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jones keeps control of the position for the meantime. Stanley controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones 's head. Jones trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Jones is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stanley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stanley looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Stanley looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Stanley has a good base and remains in mount. Stanley jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jones is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jones and Stanley has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stanley decides to stand back up. Stanley steps back and let's Jones get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Stanley is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones prevents a takedown attempt there.

Stanley appears to be looking for a big counter. Stanley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Stanley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones darts in looking for a takedown but Stanley gets double underhooks and turns Jones into the cage. Stanley shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. Landon Stanley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones throws a series of punches but Stanley avoids them all with ease. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. No luck with that takedown attempt from Stanley.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. It looked like Stanley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stanley defends it nicely. Stanley fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a thumping low kick. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Stanley. Stanley gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones lands with a good body shot. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stanley as he jumps to the side. Stanley throws a big counter combination but Jones scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Stanley misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And Jones tries to counter it with a takedown but Stanley pushes his down on his head and steps out. Jones drives through and clinches with Stanley against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stanley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A nice left hand lands by Stanley.
Stanley creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Stanley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jones is trying to keep an underhook but Stanley manages to get the takedown into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stanley pulls his head out easily. Jones is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Stanley jumps into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stanley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
