Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laxus Dreyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dreyar has chosen VII Sense Silent Assassin as his entrance music. Laxus Dreyar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dee Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Laxus Dreyar! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dreyar feints and as Torres raises his hands in defense, Dreyar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dreyar preventing the sweep. Torres really is a fat lump. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dreyar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Torres has a closed guard, preventing Dreyar from standing up. Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dreyar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dreyar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Torres might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dreyar won't allow Torres to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dreyar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Torres is proving hard to escape from. Dreyar trying to control the position from guard on top but Torres is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dreyar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dreyar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Torres haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dreyar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dreyar wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving. Dreyar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dreyar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Torres has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dreyar has managed to get both his arms back between Torres's legs - danger averted. Dreyar trying to control the position from guard on top but Torres is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dreyar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dreyar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Dreyar trying to control but Torres is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Torres enables Dreyar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Torres manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dreyar wants to stand but Torres is controlling his posture from full guard. Dreyar preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torres has his foot on Dreyar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dreyar works his way back into a safe position though. Torres lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Torres stands and steps away. Dreyar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dreyar tries to bum rush Torres with a series of wild strikes but Torres uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Torres gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dreyar to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dreyar looks winded! Dreyar gets to his feet. Torres looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Torres gets caught flat footed, as Dreyar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Laxus Dreyar will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dreyar rushes Torres and presses him up against the cage. Torres is trying to pull guard but Dreyar has him pressed against the cage. Dreyar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dreyar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Torres is trying to defend but Dreyar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dreyar is looking to take a break and control but Torres is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dreyar with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Torres works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dreyar wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving. Torres looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Dreyar is defending well. Torres quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dreyar has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Torres celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dee Torres! Laxus Dreyar spoke after the fight, saying 'I promise you train harder to win the next fight'.
