Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jack Miller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Thomas ! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Miller! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Thomas . Thomas darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage. Thomas connects with a knee to the head.
Thomas pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Thomas misses with a knee to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Miller. A head punch on the inside from Thomas fails to land. Thomas trying to stall but Miller improves his position.
Thomas throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Miller blocks it with crossed arms. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomas missing with knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas tries to land a knee to the head but Miller blocks with his arms.

Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Thomas misses with a hook. Miller ducked under it nicely. Frank Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Thomas on the side of the head.
It looks like Frank Thomas has been cut. We've been told by Thomas 's head coaches at Better Alternative ($800/week) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jab, jab by Miller - just one landing. Thomas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Thomas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Miller is out of range and Thomas settles back down. Thomas lands with a straight right. Miller didn't see that one coming. Thomas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Thomas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Thomas is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Thomas out cold! Thomas is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Miller! Jack Miller is the new light heavyweight champion! A very excited looking Jack Miller made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
