Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danial House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Beezy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Danial House!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Beezy!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from House enables Beezy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. House manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
House will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

House kicks Beezy off and gets to his feet.
Beezy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
House takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

House shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Beezy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

House goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Beezy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in House's guard! Nice work there by Beezy!
House really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

House is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beezy is controlling him.

House is trying to control the position from the bottom.

House is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Beezy presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

House manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Beezy does no damage.
House throws a quick counter kick to the body but Beezy avoids it.

Beezy moves into the clinch successfully.
House jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beezy walks away with a smile on his face. House gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
House looks to land a combination but Beezy avoids it well.

Beezy dives in and scores a takedown into House's guard.

House pushes Beezy off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beezy has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Beezy wants the takedown. House is fighting it off but Beezy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in House's guard against the cage.
Beezy wants to control from the top but House keeps moving.
House is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beezy is controlling him.
Beezy distracts House with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Beezy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
House thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Beezy trying to control but House is working from the bottom.

Beezy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
House is trying to control the position but Beezy postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beezy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

House throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Beezy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. House is in Beezy's guard.
House is breathing heavily.
House stops Beezy from standing up.
House throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

House decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Beezy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. House sprawls well initially but Beezy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

House manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Beezy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rick Beezy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Beezy stalks House and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into House's face. House staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beezy has taken the fight to the clinch.

House successfully pulls guard.
House avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Beezy throws a strike but House rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

House is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
House is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
House postures up in Beezy's guard and throws a big left but Beezy blocks it.

House avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
House stands up over Beezy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Danial House will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



House manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Beezy on his heels. He'll look to pass Beezy's guard now, I'm sure.

House stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Beezy has House up against the cage in a clinch.

House successfully pulls guard.
Danial House overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
House is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

House is working an open guard so Beezy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

House shoots in and bounces Beezy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Beezy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as House controls the pace.

House got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beezy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, House has managed to get both his arms back between Beezy's legs - danger averted.

House slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
House throwing strikes but missing.
House missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
House loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
House slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Beezy trying to strike off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Beezy throws a right hand that House ducks under and follows up with a left that House also avoids with ease.
House shoots for a double leg takedown but Beezy sprawls well. He's pushed House's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
House sets himself, and Beezy steps forward looking for the clinch! House avoids it this time.

House scores with a takedown into Beezy's guard.

Beezy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Beezy doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

House drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. House seems to have locked his on tight now - Beezy screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for House, as he picks up the win!
